A refinery process unit was migrated from a legacy control system to CENTUM VP. AOGC supplied the hardware, produced the functional design specification and I/O schedules, configured and factory-tested the system, and supervised the cutover during a scheduled turnaround.
The migration was staged so that safety functions were transferred and proven before the process control layer was switched over.
